Update: After careful consideration, and with the recent public information made available by the Government of Nova Scotia regarding COVID-19, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Central and Eastern Woodland Conferences scheduled for April 4th in Millbrook and April 18th in Port Hawkesbury.
We are disappointed that we can’t proceed with what were shaping up to be days of excellent topics and speakers, but public safety has to be our top priority. It is important that we all take actions to limit the spread of the virus by avoiding large public gatherings, washing our hands often, and practicing self-isolation as much as possible. Stay safe and take care of yourselves!
Join us for our annual Woodland Conference series, where forest professionals and woodland owners discuss topics and provide resources to help you manage your land sustainably, based on your own values and goals. There are three conferences in all, one in each region of Nova Scotia.
Listen to presentations on a wide variety of topics; view exhibits of businesses and organizations across the Nova Scotia forest sector; network with woodlot owners, forest professionals, and service providers; and enjoy a delicious lunch.
You are encouraged to pre-register for the conference you would like to attend. Click below on the conference you wish to attend to go to its online registration page. Lunch is included in your conference fee, and we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions for people who pre-register a minimum of one week before the conference. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Conference Fees: $20 Pre-register $25 At the door $15 Students
There will be a grand prize chainsaw awarded at each conference, which any participant is eligible to win.
